| Calendars, events and reminders |
Description | You can set up an event or reminder to occur once, on a specific date and time, or repeatedly every day, week, month or year. You can also set up reminders to appear for specific payroll users, or for all payroll users. Let's take a look. |
Resolution | Calendar You can use the calendar to view your reminders at a glance. When you click Calendar from the navigation bar, the window defaults to the monthly calendar view. However, to change this to view by day, week or by month, click the required option at the top of the window. TIP: To quickly show the events for your current processing date, from the bottom of the right-hand pane, click Today. By default, only tasks and events that are due appear in the calendar. If you want to also view completed tasks and events, select the Show completed events check box. A list of all events and reminders set up appears, however you can use the folders to the left of the list to show only those that are > - Not Due - Displays all events and reminders where the due date is after the current computer date or process date, depending on how the reminder is set up
- Due - Displays all events and reminders where the due date is the same as the current computer date or process date and a completed date and time have not been entered

NOTE: If for any reason the reminder persists after completion, it should be deleted. You can also mark an event or task as complete from the calendar or details view.
