Enable the feature- Click Company, then from the Tasks pane click Settings.
- Select the checkbox beside Update Absence Diary Automatically.
- To save this change click OK.
You've now set up your absence diary to automatically update booked holidays to taken holidays. When you next run the Update Records Wizard, an extra screen appears to help you update the holidays.
Update absences within the Update Records Wizard NOTE: You must process your payroll before following the steps below.
- From the employee list, select the required employees.
- From the navigation bar click Payroll, then from the Tasks pane click Update Records.
- On the message advising you must print reports before updating, click Yes.
- If required, click Backup. If required, click Print, then click OK.
- Click Next then from the Holidays Booked drop-down list choose Yes.
- If required, from the Statutory Days drop-down list, choose Yes and then click Next. See how it looks >
- Confirm the required employees are listed, then click Finish, then OK.
