Enable the feature - Go to Company then Settings.
- Select the checkbox beside Update Absence Diary Automatically.
- Select OK to save this change.
You've now set up your absence diary to update booked holidays to taken holidays. When you next run the Update Records Wizard, an extra screen appears to help you update the holidays. Update absences within the Update Records wizard Enter your payments for a pay run with absences, then when you're ready to Update Records, follow the steps below. - Check your process date and payments are correct for the pay run.
- From the employee list, select the required employees.
- Go to Payroll then Update Records.
- On the message advising you must print reports before updating, click Yes.
- If required, click Backup. If required, click Print, then click OK.
- Click Next then from the Holidays Booked dropdown list choose Yes.
- If required, from the Statutory Days dropdown list, choose ▼ Yes then click Next.
- Confirm the correct employees are in the list, then click Finish, then OK.
