With Sage 50 Accounts, you can run reports to show the activity of one or more nominal codes in a date range. Run a nominal activity report - Click Nominal Codes.
- Select the required nominal codes then click Reports.
- Click Nominal Activity, then select the report you want to use.
- Click Preview.
- Enter the date range and transaction number criteria, then click OK.

Common questionsHow do I select multiple nominal codes before running the report?If you're not able to single click multiple nominal codes, you may need to check your environmental options. Read more > What is the difference between the Account Balance and History Balance? - The Account Balance is the total balance on the Nominal Record. This includes all transactions posted to the account, and is not affected by the date range entered when running the report.
- The History Balance is the balance for the period you specify when you run the report. It's the total of the items included on the report, based on the date criteria entered and whether you have chosen to include brought forward balances.
